Ftce Test Secrets That Every A+ Student Knows
Whether you're one of them or you can't stand them, one thing's for certain: A+ students continually outperform on the FTCE test year after year.
For the rest of my test prep students who don't achieve this pinnacle of success, watching those A+ students master everything can be somewhat annoying. They start to believe that it's something in their DNA that sets them up for success. Or that their brains are secretly the size of basketballs. Or that they were visited by the good-luck fairy at birth, and are destined to live a life of success forevermore.
Sure, some of it seems a bit far-fetched. And I know that the majority of anger that my students direct at a few chosen peers stems from jealousy more than anything else. After all, why are these future certified teachers so successful...
...Even when it seems as though some of them have barely glanced at their FTCE study guides?
I'm always up for a challenge. And when I heard my future teachers grumbling over how John or Susan got yet another perfect score on their practice tests, I knew it was time to do some reconnaissance work.
My mission: just what do these A+ students know that everyone else doesn't?
The Results of My Secret FTCE Test Mission
One day after class, I gathered a handful of my best students up and decided to take them out for a drink. After a few sips and a couple of jokes, these apparent gurus of FTCE test preparation began to let their secrets slip...
...And what I discovered has resonated with me even to this day.
When I asked one student what made the difference between an A+ student and the rest of the group, she gave me this surprising answer:
*"The only reason why we do so well on our FTCE tests is because we work the hardest. A+ students aren't the best in the class because they're the smartest. They're at the top because they work the hardest. Even the smartest students will only reach a B grade if they don't work hard. I've studied my study guides so often that they've practically turned to dust!"
Okay, fair enough. And when I asked another student why he continues to outperform on every practice test, he gave me this genius answer:
*"I don't do well because I know everything that's going to be on the test. That's just impossible. What I do know, however, is what's likely to be on the test. And I also know how the test is formatted, and what the test designers are looking for me to demonstrate. The test makers are a surprisingly predictable bunch of people. Once you know what they want from you, you're practically guaranteed a sky-high pass rate."
