google puts and automaticly between all words if you don´t put there other operator.
instead of NOT google uses – (minus)
OR works in google but you have to write it in capitals

Google does not use NOT to exclude a term, it use ‘-’ instead. Different databases may use different term or symbol for an operation.

The ‘AND’ operator is add implicitly by most search engine, hence you don’t need to type it in when you do the search. As for ‘OR’ and ‘NOT’ operator, they may vary depends on different search engine. You may want to check on their help page to make sure.

Do Boolean operators work on all search engines or do you need to have a specific type of computer?
